PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Originally the name was GE300 in 1957, but Century was chosen by relaunching the sofa series with chairs in 2000, i.e. 40 years after Wegner designed them.
Hans J. Wegner's goal with the series was to create a sofa that was sufficiently neutral in expression that it could be used for all of his many armchairs.
Century is designed with loose cushions in an overlaid frame with high gables, and the legs are either conical wooden legs in oak, walnut or steel legs with a marked foot.
The design is tight and the dimensions and inclinations of the seats are, as usual, chosen with great care by Wegner's hand.
