Nitzan Cohen (born 1973 in Kibbutz Hazorea, Israel)
Studied applied art at Avni Art Academy in Tel Aviv (1995-6)
Holds a bachelors degree in industrial design from the Design Academy in Eindhoven Holland (1997-2002)
Worked as a set designer and art director for various Israeli television channels. Took part in several international design projects (‘Design Solidario' in Sao-Paulo,‘Design Lab Siemens mobile', 'Ispo-vision' in Munich, ‘Dream Makers' at The Israel Museum, Jerusalem)
Participated in group exhibitions in Recife, Sao Paulo -Brazil;
Jerusalem -Israel; Eindhoven -Holland; Munich, Cologne -Germany
Between 2002-2007, worked as a designer and a project leader at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich and as of autumn 2007 running his own design studio in Munich, Germany.
Currently working on a wide range of commissions from industrial products and furniture through exhibition design to interiors and public spaces.
