PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Contour chair was designed in 1951 by Victorian craftsman Grant Featherston. This superbly crafted chair is considered an icon of Australian Furniture design.

With its fine tapered legs and organic shape, the R160 Contour Chair was recognised worldwide as a post war breakthrough design. The base and legs are constructed from solid ash timber wood, with a plywood inner shell. The soft seat is covered in multi-density foam and is covered in our exclusive range of Sanders Fabrics which are a cotton blend, the red and black fabric however is a wool blend. Walnut Legs are also available on the Grey and Teal chairs.
